Presents the “Master Vent Program: the ‘Un-Vent’ Course.
Improve Clinical Outcomes. Period.

Now available Online via Fully Remote Format
plus fully-updated content for COVID-19

Why Do you call it the “un-Vent course?”

Most “vent classes” we’ve taken in the past are product in-services from the manufacturer.

These classes are great and are very necessary to navigate a new vent, but they are not geared toward treatment or management of a ventilated patient.

The manufacturer or sales rep can get into the “how’s” of making that vent work, but not the |why’s” of clicically managing complex ventilated patients. For interfacility transport or a free-standing ED, have you actually had a “vent course” or was it more of a simple “product service?”

Hence the idea of creating the “Un-Vent” course!

The Master Vent Program uses a familiar “Life Support Certification” style that teaches what you need to know (i.e. when to defibrillate) not specifically which button to push to shock on a specific model of defribillator.

Learn the “Why’s” behind research-driven, evidence-based practice for complex ventilated patients today!

Improving Clinical Outcomes. Period.

Our special Master Vent Program (MVP) signature course(s) are specifically designed for management of acutely intubated patients and high-acuity ventilated ICU patients during interfacility transport, the scene of a 911 call, or at a free-standing Emergency Department without respiratory care (RRT) support.
The “Core Course” is custom-tailored for Critical Care Transport Teams helping them develop a global management approach for ventilated patients based on the latest evidence-based medicine utilizing lung-protective strategy.
The 3-day “Vent Management Boot Camp” adds an extra day of certification course-style team-based training and testing scenarios. This is ideal for newer critical care providers (Paramedic/RN) or those who have had respiratory care backup in the past.

Free-Standing ED’s and PACU’s

Our “Optimized for Transport” is a customized version of our 2-day “Core Course” designed for Emergency Departments – specifically free-standing ED’s with no respiratory therapy backup.
“Optimized for Transport” helps the sending facility optimize the ventilated patient for the transport environment. Group leadership training ranges from 4 to 16-person groups utilizing a facilitated “mastermind” format. Training is customized to your organization based on your specific needs.

Jurisdictional / 911 EMS Agencies – bEYON THE BAG

Recent articles from trade journals highlight the benefits of critical care education, improving the care and practice for field paramedics.

We offer an abbreviated 1-day workshop called “Critical Concepts for EMS” which takes the best of the program that is customized for what you do every day – identify and treat critical patients quickly and effectively.

We can help you set up your “Scene Vent” Program (includes all protocols, OMD consultation, guidelines for your specific vent, vent recommendations customized to your needs). Pair a vent with your Lucas or Autopulse or for post-intubation (non-cardiac arrest)! Also, we can help augment your current scene vent program already in place.

Here’s what our satisfied customers are saying

“This is the best class I have taken in a VERY long time!”

“Very good class. I feel much more comfortable. The first two classes on the vent and vent training (at this agency) was nothing compared to this! Every paramedic should take this class, WAY more than a vent class.”

“Went from having never touched a vent and not comfortable at all with them to understanding many different aspects of the vent and ABG’s. Nicely Done.” (ED/ICU Registered Nurse participant)

“Thanks to you both for a very educational class. It was an eye-opening experience and an enjoyable class.”

“I did not know anything about the ventilator before the class and now I feel comfortable if and when I have to use it. The instructors were great and explained everything clearly. Overall I have no complaints at all about the course. Well Done!!! Thank you.”

“Class was GREAT! It was eye-opening. Thanks for presenting the material in a digestible fashion. Great Job!”
